About Jade Saphire

Jade Sapphire is a woman-owned yarn company, now in business for 22 years. Her mission in starting was to bring cashmere yarn to knitters (not much was available 20 years ago) and offer it in an array of hand-dyed colorways in every weight from lace to bulky. We now offer 100% cashmere yarn and a few luxury blends in more than 200 hand-dyed colorways as well as some commercially dyed yarns. Jane, the owner, is a passionate knitter and fiberista, and is still excited about yarn and the beautiful things knitters make with it.

Our Cashmere Coloring Boxes have been very popular the last few years. They feature 10 mini skeins of our 4-ply cashmere and a full color spiral bound booklet with 7 patterns. They are currently available in 11 different palettes. Our cashmere/linen blend, Sylph, is much loved. It combines the softness of cashmere with the structure of linen and creates a lovely, drapey fabric.
